This is a 1940s-esque jacket and skirt set with a slight modern flair.
This dramatic jacket features a folded ruffle collar that is lined in contrasting matt satin. This jacket has raglan dolman sleeves with substantial l shoulder pads which give it a 1940s silhouette. The sleeves are very roomy at the top and they have buttoning cuffs. The jacket has three buttons (which match the color of the lining) running down the front. The button holes are covered. In the back there are lacings which reach a point as they go towards the neck. This is a fitted jacket at the waist with two darts in the front. Fitted seams in both the front and back turn into large pleats as they go over the hips. The whole jacket is lined in red matt satin, which shows a little on the riverside of the folded pleated tail section, and on the cuffs.
The skirt features waterfall gathers in the front and buttoned functioning side pockets. The high waist has a v in the front and two side seams. There is a fold |
