The middle of the bustier has a CLOSED velvet panel with small FUNCTIONING or WORKING buttons down the front. Asymmetric design with long full back skirting. The skirting should come down to the middle of the calf in back. The collar, arm openings, bodice mid section and skirt hemline are trimmed in black velvet. This is meant to be a layering piece that can be worn alone or over a top or dress. The back has velvet strips with decorative buttons that get shorter towards the small of the back creating a V shape to emphasize the waist. Satin lined.
