Pinup Ruffle Skirt |
|
|
|
Three tiers of ruffles swoop up to a point and are finished off by three buttons in the front of this fishtail knee length skirt. Piping goes around the top of the waist band and down the mock side-front opening, around the bottom edge of the straight skirt, and around the bottom edge of all three ruffles. There are four darts in the back of the skirt and one on the non piping side of the front of the skirt. There is a hidden side zipper opening.
The ruffles on this skirt are black and the piping and buttons match, while the top of the skirt is made of a contrasting fabric. Pictured here is the design in jacquard, stripes and solid red. |
