I bought the dress for a wedding; the bride asked that the bridesmaids wear something in a 50's vein, in red, black or purple. I've never worn a 50's style dress before, but I love how this one looks, and may end up buying more in this style. I had also picked up a crinoline to wear under it, but with my hips, it wasn't needed :) |
