It's a mermaid tailed dress with angel sleeves. It has piping down the front and back to emphasize curves and lace trim on the sleeves, bottom of the skirt and on the middle section and the bust line. The buttons are just for decoration because you can just pull this dress on.

This dress is beautiful - I am a bit disappointed that it took so long (two weeks instead of one) to arrive, and that it was MISSING buttons. :-/
