Just picked up the parcel containing this dress today and brought it to work and tried it on and I'm thrilled.
I was a bit nervous about the sizing because I've ordered plus 24 before from other sites and the top has been too large, but going down to a 22 would have been too small in the waist. This dress fits perfectly, however, just slipped right on over my head without needing to unzip the zipper.
The material feels nice and smooth, not too light or too heavy and without a petticoat, the style is great for 1940s events, since I can't wear the 'pencil' style items.
The color is also lovely, somewhere between navy and cobalt and the shimmer isn't garish, just a touch of elegance.
