@ Krystal...I would recommend going up a size & taking it to your tailor. I had mine taken in, shortened (at the waist seam to preserve the panels' length), get the zipper & back bow removed, & even tucked on the sides so the skirt flared naturally without a petticoat. Oh...& all this for 12 bucks. Yeah...size up & let a tailor rock your whole world. The end result put both patterns of this dress into my every day wardrobe cuz it looks TOO good to not show off!

I was wondering how true to everyday plus sizes are the dress sizes. I normally wear a 24. Would I need to up or down size when I purchase?

i had noticed no one is wearing a petticoat? The petticoat believe me you put that on you get a better feel and the colored slits that are on the dress show alot better with out having to flair the dress out with your hands so people can see. Invest in a petticoat!
