I looked at my burgundy jacket a little closer and what happened is that the string/button hole is cut uneven....some of the buttons open and some do not....like having a button down top that has different sized holes....Uneven. It is SO beautiful though so I will have to take it to my seamstress.

I spoke too soon...Gary, the buttons do NOT fit through the hole/string. When I look at the jacket it is clear to see that the string cut for the buttons is WAY TOO SHORT. Struggling just to unbutton the jacket and three buttons fell off. You might want to check on this. It may just be my one jacket.

WOW! I just got my burgundy jacket and I am speechless..well, maybe not speechless but this burgundy IS GORGEOUS! WAAAAAAY better in person than in the photo! I will definitely take pictures...

Gosh SYLVIA....I wish there were more products available for plus-sizes. This jacket does NOT stretch on the bodice but the bust is generously made and the arms are NOT tight...but of course it depends on who's wearing it. I DO have large arms and bust... and I have a fuller figure. I go to the gym almost eveyday and my legs are the only part of my body that get shapely the rest just kinda BULKS out. I am wearing a size 40...maybe you would fit in the largest regular size...? I will think positively with the intention of MORE PLUS-SIZE clothing!
