@ C Ratchet- I've been here for a bit and from what I can gather is that the proto has to do well when it goes to auction for it to go to production. I believe this one went for somewhere below $50. Not sure about the amount, however.

Let me explain my idea for the back. The back "modesty strap" is intended to create a very open low back feel but yet still have the ability to cover up strapless bra strap. I think it could be very easily removed if it's not someone's cup of tea. As to the color... I was really hoping for pink too but if you notice ALOT of the designs start out as black when they are in the proto stage. It seems like when they become winners CS starts producing in color fabrics.

I know... I'm personally bummed it's not the pink but who knows... if the proto does well during auction & if it would be selected as a winner maybe the pink may come into play & be offered. I think CS goes w/the black because it's the least expensive. I can understand if that's the case. It seems like when items become winners that's when the color comes into play. At least that's what I'm noticing.

From the front it looks like a bestseller. But the back needs to be changed. Either regular straps or a closed back.

Thanks so much for your support & comments ladies :) I just emailed Gary so I hope it is possible for them to fix the back. I wanted it so badly to be a low sexy open back w/the modesty strap & a true halter neck. The way it turned out is a sleeveless dress. :( I also suggested color. I think it looks cute in black & white but there's way too much of the same thing on here w/pattern/color. Thus is why I think folks liked this to begin with.

Well.... this looks "ok" but there are ALOT of components of my design that are missing. One is color, 2nd this wasn't meant to be a side zip but a button front & 3rd the modesty strap, lower back & halter neck implements were completely ignored. I'm very dissappointed :(
