1950s Hooded Coat

This coat side fastens with two big buttons on the outside and a line of hidden buttons from neck to hem on the inside. A large retro collar is formed when the hood is flipped down; the second button is hidden on the underside of the collar. When the collar is flipped up to form a hood the (hidden) second button fastens the hood closed. The coat has two functioning slash pockets.There is small belt at the waist in the back which can be adjusted for fit. This knee length coat is lined and the cuffs can be flipped down for warmth.

Standard size approx. length: 39 inches; Plus size approx. length: 42 inches.

I'm upset that I missed this one... I really would like a coat even though I don't need one in this muggy weather. But it'd be nice for those few and far between cold South Florida nights. :) I hope you do more alterations on this Amber. It's got to be done again! :)

I like coats with hoods for shelter from rain and practical useful pockets for car keys and the like. I prefer knee length to help me look taller. But I love sophistication in design. Although what is percieved as sophisticated or art of any kind is certainly realtive.
