I think it's cute although I too really wanted to see it in the plaid or even a reverse polka dot would've been nice. A red w/black polka dot fabric would've been cute too in my opinion.

This is one of the best design-to-proto transitions I have seen of Rachael's work in a long time, even with the polka dot substitution. Everything looks proportional and well thought out. Perhaps if it goes into production we'll be graced with a different print.

Very Beverly Hillbillies, in the best possible way. I didn't like the original design, so I was suprised to find that I quite like the prototype. I understamd the frustration with the (constant!) fabric substitutions, but in this case, I think it worked.

I find that there are many polka dot dresses on this site. The plaid adds variety to this site. I, like the many others who have posted, am disappointed that this beautiful dress was made with a polka dot accent. Hopefully, Chicstar will take our comments into account and perhaps also offer this dress in the plaid fabric which was featured in the original concept design.

CS have exercised licence to replace the plaid with polka dot yet again - fair enough. Howewver, I'm absolutely positive this design would've scored much lower if the drawing had included polka dots...
