I like this dress, I too think the white block at the top is awkward and seem a little disjointed.

I like seeing the print, though I do agree the white block looks kind of awkward in my opinion. I do however like the contrasting red on the sleeves.

Congratulation for your proto Julie ! Seems nice to me but I am not so sure for a woman my size ! (short and really curvy!) But for a taller gal would be very nice !

Yes it does look busy and the top fabric looks stiff - the original design had the top more fitted to show off curves.

I checked the original print, and since the format is only A4 (and some roses here look bigger than a A4 sheet), I'm quite sure the pattern is a bit magnified (I think it's due to the resolution of the file which is high, it's easier to expand the print without loss in the quality of the details).

I didn't realize there was a white band on the neckline, I can understand why people say it's busy. Maybe without the white part?... But actually, the real issue I see here is the fabric of the top part that looks a bit stiff. Or maybe that's just an impression. BTW, nice job everyone! ;)

Thank you Jackstar! ;) And also congratulation to Dolly who had the idea of the print. This is an internationally colaborative print. ^^ Moreover, I'm surprised to see the size of the flowers, I really thought they would be smaller. Good to know!

Cool! As usual, hope the red is darker than it seems in the photo, but on the whole pretty happy with how this turned out. The fit in the back looks a little off, but on the whole not too shabby.
