This skirt with piping and buttons has ruffles around the buttom and the top of it is to be made of stretch fabric.There?s sewn seams on bust and sash tie on waist to make it more suitable. Side zip.

So... Got this dress a size bigger than I am, because it looked rather small. Turns out I completely underestimated how tight it was. It's just stretchy, clingy, tiny, and tight and grabs in all the wrong places. Gave it to a friend who is a size smaller than me and even she was uncomfortable in it. If this actually gets made into a dress, could the skirt NOT be a stretchy fabric please? How about the strong, business-suit fabric that it looks like it should be.

Beautiful. I'm new to the site and trying to figure out how it works. I'm. It a designer just a shopper but I have a 1950s style so hopefully this is the type of site I've been looking for. Much continued success. I'm sure I'll be purchasing soon.

I like this...I seem to be with the majority that a shorter skirt would've been just right. It looks like there's too much space between the point of the triangular part and the hem. Just saying.

I do love this dress! I just wish the skirt flare hit mid-thigh rather than at the knee. I think it would be more flattering.

I agree with the earlier comment that a darker pinstripe fabric might have worked better. But it's still pretty cute (and original!) as it is. I think the length is just perfect as is.

I like the silhouette on this, though I do wish the shirt was shorter, but that's a personal preference, it looks nice at the length it is. My only quip is that the triangular detailing really looks like it's pointing to the crotch. I know it wasn't intended as such, and I thought it was a rather smart detail that pulled people's eyes inward (thus minimizing hips), but now that I've seen where it sits, I'm a little dubious.

I only regret the fact they used the light grey pinstripes fabric. I think the darker would be more accurate to keep a continuity. But even as is it's really, really nice! I hope it will be a winner. :) I also agree with Gaelle with the skirt only.

I disagree, this is a very elegant and flattering design when you have some curves. The only thing that could stop me from bidding on it is the length of the skirt because I prefer either above-the-knee or full length skirts, but even then I find it so nice that I'm going to bid on it.
