Wow, I did not realize all of those buttons were functional. I agree, it would definitely be more practical if they could make most of them decorative (with a side-zip) and maybe just have the top 2 or 3 functional for the sake of the snug collar.

I really love this top, too! I have a lot of Victorian blouses that button down the back....while they look amazing I must confess to not having a lady's maid.....Perhaps if it goes into production CS can make the majority of the buttons decorative and add a side zip. Of course the buttons on the neck would need to function but it would eliminate the necessity of a lady's maid. Hmmm.....perhaps I'll slap a maid's outfit and cap on my man and assign him the role....? Maybe not!

hey every i just received my proto and its so cute i love it i am a plus size girl i ordered size 22 and i know how everyone i worried about the arms i actually have no problem with the arms and mine are pretty big also its not that short although i will be wearing it with leggings since im not a fat of my legs but on thing you might have trouble with are the buttons down the back will be hard to button without someones help when putting it on other than that i love it and im so happy

I am totally agreeing with Jessica. This is absolutely an unpractical garment Ive ever seen ... By t w i could use it as a HALLOWEEN COSTUME!!! BUT I am not sure about the sleeves it seems they are very tight( may cuz cut off circulations?) ;'p

Yay, new protos! This came out very nicely. :) My only complaint (and I guess it holds true for the original design, so not a proto issue, really) is the length - for me it's awfully short in the front for wearing as a dress. I see you guys have renamed it a "top", but on the other hand it's a bit long for that! Ultimately I think I'd like it more as a dress, but that front hem needs to come down a few inches.
