This pencil cut dress should be panel fitted to flatter. The bust area uses the small polkadot fabric, and is trimmed along the top with scalloped black lace. Three thin straps are covered/webbed with a black net for an unusual look. A slim, thin ribbon lines under the bust, and meets at a point in a little bow. This ribbon continues around to the back, dipping down into a corset like detail and fastening at the end in a bow. The lower skirt is black fabric and is cut in an upwards v at the front to reveal the knees, but at the back falls just behind them. Ruffles of the polkadot fabric edge the bottom of the skirt. The front of the dress features a curved piping in white along the seaming to flatter or imply an hourglass figure - the ribbon from below the bust could be used for this if a suitable piping cannot be acquired. |
